Dr. Kamal holds several qualifications including the Certificate of Arab Board Council for General Surgery (CABS), a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from Strasbourg University/France, a Diploma in General Surgery from Kufa University/Iraq, and an MBChB from Al-Mustansiriyah University College of Medicine in Baghdad/Iraq. Dr. Kamal has extensive expertise in a range of specialized treatments of open general surgery and including Diagnostic Laparoscopy, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Laparoscopic Appendectomy, Laparoscopic Hernia Repair with Meshes (inguinal hernia, recurrent hernia, umbilical hernia, paraumbilical hernia, incisional hernia) Laparoscopic fundoplication and hiatoplasty Flexible Endoscopy (upper and lower), and Hybrid Endo-Laparoscopic Surgery. He is also experienced in breast surgeries, thyroid gland surgeries, gastric, bowel, duodenal, and colonic surgeries, various types of anorectal surgeries (haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, abscess, pilonidal sinus) Hydatid Disease surgery, and other minor surgeries, also he has experience in laser surgery of anal conditions (haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, abscess, pilonidal sinus ) He has a diploma in Laparoscopic training from Strasbourg University (IRCAD) for the year 2012-2013, and his expertise extends to both surgical and diagnostic areas including many training courses in laparoscopy and endoscopy.
