Patient Rights and Responsibilities

Your care and satisfaction are our priorities. Our staff, equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment, includes skilled specialists, physicians, nurses, and technicians. We uphold the highest standards of integrity and sincerity in patient care. For any inquiries regarding your care program, please seek assistance from your physician, nurse, or a patient relations representative.

Bed and Nurse Call System

  • Your bed has automatic raising and lowering functions.
  • The bed will be set to a low position with raised side rails at bedtime.
  • A nurse call system is installed in your room for assistance.

Food

Avoid keeping large quantities of food in the patient rooms for cleanliness and safety.

Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in the designated courtyard area outside the hospital.

Visitor Rules

  • Visiting hours: 10:00 to 22:00 for all departments. 
  • Visitation is limited to immediate family and close friends, with a maximum of 2 visitors per room.
  • Special arrangements can be made by contacting the head/charge nurse.
  • ICU visitors under the age of 14 require prior approval.

Lost and Found

Report missing or found items to the head nurse or manager.

Pain Management

Comprehensive pain management services are available. Discuss options with your anesthesiologist.

Interpreter Services

Free translation services are available for patients who do not speak English or Arabic.

Coffee Shops and Cafeteria 

  • Located in the main building lobby.
  • Operating hours: 7am to 7pm and 9am to 10:00pm respectively

Security

Available 24 hours, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Parking

  • Parking is available around the emergency building, outpatient clinic, and main entrance.
  • Valet parking is also available at the main entrance.

Prayer Room

Male and female prayer rooms are available in both the lobby and the outpatient building.

Mobile Device Charging Kiosks

Located in the emergency department, out-patient areas, and building lobby.

International Patients

Our dedicated team will guide you through your journey for the care you need. From arranging travel to providing local information, we make planning your appointments seamless.

Personal Electrical Appliances

  • Inform your nurse if you wish to use any personal electrical appliances.
  • Our engineering staff will inspect and test the equipment for safety.

Hand Hygiene

Maintain frequent hand hygiene, especially after contact with surfaces, meals, and restroom use.

In-Room Food Services

Meal Service Schedule:

Breakfast: 07:30 – 08:30

Lunch: 13:30 – 14:30

Dinner: 18:30 – 19:30

Fire Safety

  • Regular fire drills and staff training are conducted.
  • In case of a fire, notify staff immediately and avoid using elevators.

Flowers/decorations in corridors

No large flower arrangements or decorations are allowed in corridors.

Falls Reduction Program

A nurse will review your fall risks upon admission. Signs or information sheets in patient rooms detail these risks.

Gift and Flower Shop

  • Located in the main building lobby.
  • Operating hours: 7 am to 7 pm and 9:00 am to 10:00 pm respectively.

Outpatient Pharmacy

Open daily from 8 am to 8 pm.

Wheelchairs

Available throughout the hospital for patient use.

ATM Cash Machines

Located at the Outpatient Clinics Building entrance and Emergency waiting area.

Wi-Fi

Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available throughout the facility.

Direct Telephone Line

Available in all rooms for staying connected with staff, doctors, and family.

Billing and Financial Support

Contact patient account services for assistance with insurance and billing questions.
