Dr Salwa Taher is senior consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with experience over 35 years. She holds MBBch and MSC degree and is a fellow of Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist of the United Kingdom.

Dr Salwa has a broad experience in working at senior consultant level at reputable hospitals in National health service of the UK and in Abu Dhabi SEHA and well as private practice in UAE.
For over 20 years, she pursues special interest in fetal medicine practice with fellowship from highly reputable fetal medicine centre of Kings college of London. she awarded Diploma of advanced obstetric ultrasound from Royal College of Radiologist and Diploma in Family planning in the UK. She completed advanced special skills degrees in menopause, fetal medicine and advanced labour ward practice.
As Hands on Obstetrician, she provides compassionate care to high-risk pregnancy cases and perform advanced obstetrics manoeuvres include repeat caesarean sections, ECV and B Lynch sutures. Dr Salwa has interest and advanced experience in managing menstrual disorders, menopause, andropause, infertility, colposcopy and perform laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and vaginal surgeries.
Dr Salwa has genuine interest in prematurity research as over the years she conducted RCT research then published, and peer-reviewed various research articles for reputable international medical journals in the UK.
Also was invited to various international congresses as a speaker and as a chairman.
She has noticeable interest in medical education as examiner in medical school of London and remarkable interest in legal aspects of medical practice in the UK.
